ONE OF MY EXTENSIONS IS NOT RECEIVING CALLS

1. EXTENSION 1005 IS NOT RECEIVING OUTSIDE CALLS OR FROM ANOTHER EXTENSION, BUT IT IS CAPABLE OF DIALING ANOTHER EXTENSION AND MAKE OUTSIDE CALLS.

2. GOHST RINGING CONTINUES TO HAPPEN EVEN DO WE DID CHANGE THE DEFAULT SIP PORT

The ghost ring does not originate from RingRoost. We will look over the data to see what is happening with Ext 1005 most likely related nat and firewall

Extension 1005 is behaving like the other extensions. When RingRoost PBX sends a qualifing OPTIONS message to make sure it can still reach the phone. It does not get a response. The firewall must be blocking the request. Same as if a new call gets sent to the ext. When it is makes the call, outbout request is not blocked, so call goes reaches the PBX. This is a NAT issue. The phone, firewall on premise issue. You need to set the phone to refresh register quicker by setting it up as a device behind a NAT. This keeps the firewall pinhole open. Or something within the firewall/router to allow SIP calls.
