Hi Kovan,

You can buy more numbers by going to the "Numbers" tab in your top menu and selecting "Numbers." On the next page, you'll see a button (on the left) that says "Buy Phone Number"

You might find this page from our resources section helpful, as it explains more about buying phone numbers:

This help video walks you through the steps of buying a phone number (about 5 minutes in):

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Good Afternoon,

Thank you.My business is based in Markham Ontario and Toronto Ontario. I need area code starting with 905 and 416 but there are no numbers in your number selection option starting with those area codes.

Hi Kovan,

I see, thanks for explaining that. Unfortunately, those are the two area codes for Ontario we don't have right now. We have every other area code for Ontario, though. I'm really sorry if this creates an issue for you, that's definitely not what we want. We do our best to offer as many area codes as we can. In the meantime, maybe you can snag one of the others?

Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Warmly,

Thank You. The inbound calls I want to use two numbers .How do I setup this? I want to use my regular number and the toll-free number but my toll-free number is not working properly. Do I need to create two separate answer call control or could I choose both on single answer call control?... (there isn't any option on answer call control window to choose 2 numbers)

Hi Kovan,

That's a great question. I'm happy to help. I'd love to get a better understanding of what kind of setup you're trying to build.

Do you want your incoming calls to be routed to the 2 phone numbers simultaneously (and the one that answers first picks up the call)? Or do you want your incoming calls to be routed through a menu and your caller selects an option: option 1 goes to phone number A (local), and option 2 goes to phone number B (toll-free)? Or do you something else?

Thanks,

I want to use a toll-free number and a regular number - all incoming calls to be routed through the same automated attendant menu.

Please look at my setup on my account. When I call the toll free number it is not going through the menu selection just ring 5 times and then I get the engaged tone. The other number starting with 289 area code is working fine.

Hi Kovan,

We tested the toll-free number. The menu picks up after one ring. Are you testing the number from your toll-free line? That can cause issues with testing; have you tried testing it with any other phone (another SIP phone or mobile)?

I am using the different number to call the toll free number. Now it is working. And also call forwarding is not working properly. I could receive the call but within few seconds after answer the call the line goes to engage tone and disconnect?

CALL SCREENER IS NOT WORKING when I forward the calls to my cell phone.

Hi Kovan,

I see, sorry about that. We suggest using the "Mobile Phone" control under the advanced controls menu, rather than the call screener on the "Dial" control. You'll likely have better luck that way since it's a more stable route. Sorry for the inconvenience. Let us know if you have any more questions or issues.
