When I forward my google voice number to ringroost the Voip phone rings but never goes to the menu that I set up. The caller phone rings for a while and then goes to the google voicemail. Can this be fixed on my end or is a Bug?

Thanks for reaching out, sorry for the trouble. We went ahead and tested your line. The menu picked up after a few rings. What phone are you testing from? Are you calling from your main phone, or another one (i.e. another phone/mobile)?

My google number is 773-800-1777. When I set up the google voice number to forward the call to ringost it ansewrs the call, when the menu is the second step it doesnt reach the menu, if I happen to change the menu for the dial icon it does call the number. If I use the voice mail option after answer call it does not reach the ringroost voicemail but keeps ringing until the google voicemail activates. Let me know if you would to test it and I will change the google voice settings.

Thanks for explaining all that. The number we tested before was 773-840-0303 (your RingRoost number). That's the number that works. We tested the 1777 number and, as you described, it rang a few times then went to voicemail. In any of the options you tried, did the menu pick up at all?

It did pick up two times. One when I first set it up and one more in one of the ocations when I started from scratch.

Hi Havier,

We resolved this issue. Ends up Google requires you to press 1 to actually answer the call. It's a little technical but in case it happens again; If you right click the "answer call" go to -> properties -> answer options -> and set send DTMF to "1". Our system will then send "1" to google voice and they will answer the call.
