Hi Support!



The CNAME information does not appear in the call logs and it does not show up in API calls for Caller Detail Records (CDRS) when using API.

As a result, I tried getting the info through a JSON request in a variable control, but it did not work. The JSON request worked, I just could not get it to deliver CNAME/{from_name} data. It works when I use a {from_name} in another control like a text.

Is there a way to get CNAME data in CDRS? Is there a reason it does not work in a variable control?

Hi Support.

I keep managing to solve my own issues and closing my own tickets, but this one I cannot solve and I really need your help.

I am using the variable control to send call data to my server. When I insert {from_name} into the JSON command it fails. Of course I checked the CNAME lookup on the answer control. Curiously, when I put {from_name} into a send text or send emai controll, it sends the name information by text or email.

I need to get the name into the call data somehow. Can you PLEASE help me.
