extension to extension dialing

When dialing between two extensions, is there a way to see the extension # on the receiving phone? Right now I see the phone number associated with the extension. We only use 1 phone number for all extensions.

i have 2 astra 9133i and a polycom 331

when i call extension 40 from extension 21, the caller id that displays on extension 40 is the main number, not the extension.

extension to extension dialing

Hey Jim,

We set it up so it now appends the extension to the main phone number. Can you try it out and let us know if that accomplishes what you need?

Also do your phones show a name on the caller ID or only a number?

Hi Jim,

Why do you not want to display the SIP username? You could set the username to the extension and display it that way...

Thanks,
