wav and mp3 not playing

wav and mp3 not playing

I can't seem to get either .wav or .mp3 files to play. After uploading them and saving my system I try calling and it's just silent for a few moments and then it hangs up. Do I need to switch web browsers? Try another file type? Help!

Hello It does need to be a mp3 file. Can you make sure the file is mp3 format. We will check the file system for any problems and post here

Hello I do not see a file name so there is nothing to play. Once you upload the file you should see a file name. It will be a long list of characters and should be in mp3 format.

Thanks for the quick response. I just added a test mp3 file to my third menu. It shows on my menu as "[recording:3058]" ...when I call and navigate to that menu, nothing happens it just hangs up after a few seconds. I double checked my mp3 file. It plays just fine on my computer.

I clicked on add recording, uploaded the mp3 file and then clicked add to chart.

Oh I see what you're saying... After I upload the file, no file name shows up. So maybe the upload is unsuccessful? I promise I am uploading an mp3. I have also tried a couple wav files. Could it be the files are too big or something? Is there a max file size?

No. I just sent two of the files I've tried to support@ringroost.com along with my support ticket number.

There is a file size limit. If you keep the file in mp3 format and under 2MB you should not have any issues.
