DESINATION NOT FOUND

We have a PBX that when called will foward the call on to a crisis team. When we call the number, however, it rings 3 times very fast and then says "Destination not Found".

What coudl this be?

Also is there anyway to have the DIAL function SKIP to the next number if a Auto Message or VM answers instead?

Thanks,

Colby

I am going to run a test to see what is happening. I think we may want to break out each called number into a seperate Dial call control and put a caller screener attached to the dialout. You would have to press one to answer. This would prevent when a cell phone is rejected or offline vm platform to pick up.

We can also adjust to timeout value by right clicking the dial call control and selecting properties. I can suggest 20 to 25 seconds. About 5 seconds for each ring. All depends on the cell phones dialed out to how fast vm will pickup.

I did a test call and it just went to vm for the second number. My suggestion is to set as described below and using the fork call control to each seperate dial call control with a call screener. Will have teach the end user to press one after saying hello and hearing the message from RingRoost PBX.

Can you check to make sure that i set this up right?

When we tested, the phone went through and rang 4 times. The phone number (913-787-3470) went to voicemail. I added the screeners.

You just need one fork to all the phones to ring at the same time. I made an adustment. Let me know if this works better

We have tested this again and got an error

One of the numbers in the forks is for a person who is on a flight. So it sent it to his Voice Mail even though he didn't press 1.

Looks like the solution is not working anymore. There could be In my testing the press one to answer call is being left on the voicemail. Not sure if it is changes to the way cell carriers handle offline calls and going to vm. I will see if I can work out a solution
