Picking up on first Ring & Ring count to Ring Timer

Hi,

A while back I noticed that when a call comes in, Ring Roost answers the call on the first ring while continuing to ring the VoIP phone until someone answer or it goes to VM. You said you'd look into having an option to not pick up immediatly and let the ring initiator continue ringing until a ring count expired.

Has that feature been implemented yet?

Also I had a concern when ringing two phone simultaniously. if one of the phones wasn't connected the call was sent directly to VM and would not ring the other phone. I'm wondering if this is because you count rings rather than a time duration.

Have you made any changes in this area to fix that particular problem?

Hi Kurt,

We recently launched the this feature. Right click your "Answer Call" cotrol ->properties -> set Send answer to no. Save, then save your PBX.

We also fixed the two phones ringing if one is offline issue a few months ago. So now only the online one will ring.
