Calling Australia

Hi RingRoost,

With your help we successfuly set up our number in Australia. Friends in Australia have dialled it and it works perfectly and very cost effective. We also set up USA toll free and a USA normal number and all works perfectly.

What we would like to dois to be able to call Australia from our USA based system. Here in the USA, we only have our cell phones connected to Ringroost. I tried dialing AUS from the mobile app but it did not work. I have we had a SIP phone at home and connected it to RingRoost that would be an easy solution, but we do not have a SIP phone. Is there a way our mobile app can also dial AUS through our system?

We have a landline at home through a normal carrier and the only reasdon we keep it is because it has low cost calls to AUS. We would gladly cancel it if we could get set up via our cell phones on RingRoost. Given how flexible RingRoost is, there just has to be a solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers....ianT

Calling Australia

You will need to prefix the AU phone number with 00143

The 001 is for letting the system know it's an international call and the 43 is the AU calling code.

See more here: https://www.ringroost.com/faq.php?cat=12&q=506

Let us know if you have any trouble.

Thanks,

Calling Australia

Hi there RingRoost,

I just checked with the 001, rather than the 011 that I was using, and it works perfectly. Many thanks.

Also, isn't the AU code 61 and not 43 ?

Thanks again.... this system is amazing.

Cheers....ianT
