I recently setup a digium D40 phone setup on a established system the phone worked great. All the testing went well with no problem about 6 hours later the phone started to ring uncontrollably indicating income call of test123 it tied up 20 channels. Currently don't have any idea were to hunt for the problem.

It does not look like these calls were sent from RingRoost, this is likely SIP scanners on your network. Usually changing your digium D40 phones port to listen on something besides 5060 is sufficient to prevent SIP scanners.

However, if that still does not do the trick, only allowing SIP traffic from our servers will do the trick. You will want to whitelist our ip addresses:
