Testing The Phone System

Hey guys,



Just signed up and configured a advanced voicemail system to seperate urgent calls from non urgent calls. I would love to be able to test the system to see if I like it before I go throught he hassle of porting over our main business phone number. Is there a way to do this? Even if it was only through the computer, I just want to get a feel for the flow, voice tone, vocalized wording, etc... before I make it the phone face of my business.

Testing The Phone System

Hey Matthew,

Good question, you will need to add at least $10 in order to test the system. If it won't work for you we will refund your account balance.

You can test your system one of two ways, prior to porting a number.

1. Buy a new number for testing purposes (you can release later, and they are fairly cheap)

2. You can assign your current phone number to RingRoost prior to porting it here (https://www.ringroost.com/account.php) ->click "Assign a Number to RingRoost".

- You can then test your configuration if you have a SIP enabled softphone (we recommend Linphone) that allows you to dial a sip address by dialing:

"sip:{yourphonenumber}@ringroost.com"
